What is Wayru?

Wayru is a blockchain-powered wireless network that makes internet access open, community-driven, and truly global. • Hotspot Operators – Anyone can participate by deploying a Wayru Hotspot. Purchase one directly from Wayru, bring your own device and flash it with our firmware (WayruOS), or connect through supported protocols.

• WayruOS – Our open firmware that transforms compatible devices into Wayru Hotspots, enabling seamless integration and network participation.

• Distributed Rewards – Operators and contributors earn the Wayru Token ($WAYRU), which ties real-world connectivity demand to a transparent, on-chain economic model.

• Scalable Infrastructure – From individuals setting up single hotspots to mid-sized ISPs managing fleets, Wayru provides the tools to onboard, manage, and grow networks at any scale.
