Non-fungible Node

Unique digital assets that represent and reward Hotspots.

The Non-Fungible Node (NFN) is a cornerstone of the Wayru Network and a breakthrough in the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) sector. NFNs introduce a new standard for how contributions to the network are recognized, recorded, and rewarded — turning every hotspot into a unique, verifiable, and evolving digital asset.

Unique Value

Each NFN is a non-fungible asset tied to a specific, active hotspot. Just as no two hotspots are the same, no two NFNs are alike. This one-to-one relationship mirrors the individuality of each operator’s contribution, ensuring their efforts are uniquely recognized within the ecosystem.

Minting NFNs

When a hotspot joins the Wayru Network, an NFN is minted. This moment marks the start of the operator’s journey as an active builder of decentralized connectivity. More than a technical step, minting creates an immediate sense of ownership and belonging — a digital certificate of participation in a global movement.

Living Records

NFNs are more than IDs. Each one evolves over time, continuously updating with attributes such as:

  • Location

  • Service Quality

  • Uptime

  • Data Traffic

  • Multipliers

This transforms the NFN into a living ledger — a transparent, verifiable record of performance and impact on the Wayru Network.

Performance & Rewards

NFNs directly determine reward eligibility. Better-performing hotspots increase their NFN value, which translates into higher rewards. This creates a positive feedback loop: operators improve service quality → NFNs reflect those improvements → rewards grow. The result is a fair, performance-driven system that aligns operator incentives with network health.

Transparency & Trust

Because NFNs live on-chain, every record of performance and rewards is publicly verifiable. This ensures fairness in distribution, builds trust among participants, and reinforces Wayru’s commitment to transparency.
