Hotspot Onboarding Process and Fees.

Hotspots are onboarded through the Builders Mobile App, ensuring a seamless and verifiable setup process. Before starting, make sure of the following:

• Your Hotspot device is ready to set up.

• You have enough funds in your wallet to cover onboarding fees.

Steps to Onboard

1. Download and open the Wayru Builders App.

2. Navigate to My Miners and click Add Miner.

3. Choose the device model from the available list — Wayru Miners or BYOD.

4. Follow the in-app, step-by-step guide to complete the configuration process.

Onboarding Fees

• Onboarding a Wayru Hotspot or BYOD requires a payment of $50 USD in $WAYRU, plus blockchain transaction and protocol fees.

• Payment is made directly within the Builders App at the time of onboarding.

Non-Fungible Node (NFN)

• When onboarding each Hotspot, a unique NFT called the Non-Fungible Node (NFN) is minted.

• The NFN serves as permanent proof of device ownership on-chain.

• The wallet holding the NFN is the only wallet eligible to claim all token rewards generated by the onboarded Hotspot.

Onboarding through the Wayru Builders App ensures every Hotspot is appropriately registered, secured, and linked to its rightful operator for rewards distribution.
