πŸ“ΆShare a WiFi Network

Share your WiFi on the Wayru app and earn rewards without hosting a WayruOS-compatible Hotspot. This user-friendly process lets the Wayru App share your WiFi with the community.

You can earnWayru Points for sharing WiFi after adding your router’s local network or any other known WiFi network to the Wayru Network, like the one at your favorite restaurant or grocery store. Other users must verify and use it for rewards to kick in. So make sure you do it right.

Maintaining strong network performance is crucial for earning rewards. Network validators will test and determine if your network is reliable and worth rewarding.

How to Share a WiFi Network?

If you find a WiFi network not yet registered on our map, feel free to add it! By doing so, you'll help the community and also receive rewards for your contribution.

  1. Connect to the WiFi network you want to share.

  2. On the home page, you will see a connection card with the network name you are connected to. Click the "Add WiFi" button to open the Add Network window.

  3. You can also add the network by going to the Explorer and clicking "Add WiFi."

  4. Select the type of network you want to add: "Public" or "Private."

  5. Fill in the requested information.

  6. Click on "Share." Done!

Now, you can check and claim your generated reward. You can also view your shared networks to see if more people have connected or validated your networks. Remember, you can earn recurring rewards if the network is validated and multiple users start using it.

If you share your own network or your local cafeteria’s, you help improve the network’s coverage, and you’ll get rewarded for it in Wayru Points.
