Oracles

The Brain of the Network.

Oracles in the Wayru ecosystem are critical components that process the core logic of the Wayru Network. Acting like the network’s “brain,” they ensure smooth and secure operations across multiple modules.

Key Features

  • Internode API: This central communication hub ensures seamless data exchange and coordination among all Oracle modules.

  • Decentralized Identity (DID) Module: This module provides secure authentication, interfacing with DIDs to ensure verified and authorized participants and transactions.

  • Blockchain Module: This module interacts with the Blockchain to record all network transactions, ensuring transparency, immutability, and traceability.

  • Telecommunications Module: This module integrates the operations of telecommunications functions within the Wayru network, supporting connectivity and data transmission.

Decentralization of Oracles

Wayru’s oracle layer will significantly shift toward complete decentralization. The network will open Oracle participation to a global community rather than relying solely on a single, centralized entity.

Thousands of independent operators will be able to run and maintain their own Oracle nodes, contributing to a more resilient and censorship-resistant infrastructure. By distributing trust and control among many participants, the network will be better equipped to handle growth and emerging threats.

This transition to decentralized oracles is a critical step in Wayru’s mission to create a truly open, collaborative, and secure Internet ecosystem. As the network matures, these community-driven oracles will handle core logic across multiple modules, ensuring that a diverse set of stakeholders validates decisions and data flow.

Detailed guidelines on node requirements and incentive structures will be shared in the future.

*Currently, Wayru Inc. is the only Oracle in the ecosystem.
