Trusted Deployers are experienced professionals or organizations with a proven track record in deploying and managing network infrastructure, whether decentralized or not. These individuals or organizations could be tech-related or have other types of network management experience, as well as ISPs and WISPs of all sizes. By deploying and maintaining hotspots, Deployers ensure that Wayru’s network is robust, secure, and efficient.

Trusted Deployers Selection

  • Technical Expertise: Proven ability to install and maintain hotspots.

  • Reliability: A record of keeping hotspots operational with minimal downtime.

  • Community Engagement: Active participation in the Wayru community.

  • Compliance and Security: Adherence to Wayru’s standards and local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Real Estate Finding & Negotiation: Finding & negotiating the locations to deploy indoor or outdoor Hotspots and collaborating with local communities.

  • Hotspot Deployment & Maintenance: Install Hotspots in optimal locations, ensure they operate smoothly, and take care of any replacements, removal, or relocation of Hotspots.

  • Data Reporting and Analysis: Providing performance reports and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Support and Training: Assisting hosts and new deployers and offering ongoing support.
