Empowering Participation in the Wayru Ecosystem.

Our rules for earning rewards encourage users to validate and share real and useful networks, not just try to scam the community by creating false networks or accounts.

Users who validate networks must be verified and trusted with at least a one-month-old account. A validator cannot be the same user sharing the network.

We encourage the community to keep the network safe by reporting unusual activity to [e-mail].

Welcome Gift

Every new user will receive 50 Wayru Points upon account creation to get things started within the ecosystem. You’re welcome!

Check-in to a Network

Every day, users can earn up to 100 Wayru Points for connecting and checking-in to different networks available on Wayru’s Mobile app.

For the rewards to kick in, the following needs to happen:

1. Find a Network to connect to: Look for a network nearby on the map (the distance is usually shown on the network’s info card).

2. Start the connection process: clicking on "Connect" will initiate the process of accessing the network.

3. Complete check-in process: the user needs to click on check-in on the network’s card after getting connected.

4. Get rewarded: After being connected by the app and completing the check-in process, you get 10 Wayru Points.

You can repeat this process on up to 10 different networks and get up to 100 Wayru Points every single day.

Shared Password-Protected or Open Networks Rewards

When you share a Network with the community, you will earn 50+ Wayru Points.

In this scenario, you earn per network shared and successful connections received. We cannot manage the device’s usage since it is not running on our OS. The network cannot be opened; it should be a network with a password.

For the rewards to kick in, the following needs to happen:

1. Share a Network: The Network needs to be successfully shared using the Wayru WiFi Mobile app. Once shared, you get 50 Wayru Points .

2. Network Verification: After being added to the map by the app, the network must be verified to qualify for continuous rewards.

3. Continuous Rewards: All following connections will generate Wayru Points in a per-successful connection basis from verified users.

Network Validation Rewards

When you validate a Network, you will earn up to 50 Wayru Points. Validating networks helps keep the network secure and provides a better user experience for everyone.

For the rewards to kick in, the following needs to happen:

1. Find a Network to validate: Look for a network on the map that needs validation (usually, there is a tag on the network’s info card).

2. Start the validation process: You will initiate the process by clicking on Validate Network.

3. Complete connection process: To be successfully validated, the user needs to complete the connection process and run a speed test. The app must verify its authenticity, location, and other details before approving the validation process.

4. Get rewarded: After being validated by the app, you get 50 Wayru Pointsfor validating a Wayru Hotspot, 25 Wayru Pointsfor validating a third-party WayruOS-compatible Hotspot, and you get 10 Wayru Points for validating a shared Network.

Referrals Rewards

When you refer a new user, you will earn up to 25 Wayru Points per referred user. Referring users helps our community grow, enabling our mission to reach more people and help them stay connected every day, everywhere.

For the rewards to kick in, the following needs to happen:

1. Refer friends to download the app: The referred user needs to download the app using your invite link or invite code.

2. The referred user creates an account: The referred user needs to be successfully verified by completing their account. You get 25 Wayru Points.

The networks the referrals connect to for Proof of Existence cannot be their own.

Podium Rewards

The Wayru Podium lets users track their weekly activities displayed in UTC.

Activities such as check-ins, referring friends, validating, and sharing networks contribute to your score. Your rank is determined by the points earned during the defined period. Users are listed in descending order based on their points—more actions, more points, higher rank. If two users have the same ranking, the one who reached the score first will be prioritized. The Podium is updated regularly and resets every Sunday at 0:00 UTC+0.

Rewards for top-ranked app users:

1. 200 Wayru Points

2. 100 Wayru Points

3. 50 Wayru Points

Note: If we detect any cheating, we reserve the right to eliminate the account.
