$WAYRU tokens are burned when data credits are consumed and hotspots are onboarded.

Burn to onboard

If a new Hotspot is onboarded on the Wayru Network, an NFN is minted, and 20 USD in $WAYRU tokens are burned.

Burn to delegate

If the Hotspot is delegated to a Trusted Deployer, 10 USD in $WAYRU tokens are burned.

Burn to assign Host

If the hotspot is assigned to a Host, 5 USD in $WAYRU tokens are burned.

Burn to emit Data Credits

To emit a Data Credit, 0.01234 USD in $WAYRU tokens are burned.

• DCs can only be created created by burning $WAYRU tokens.
